Tricia Earl B.A., B.H.Sc (OT)
Tricia started her career in Texas where she gained invaluable experience in acute neuro inpatient rehabilitation, long term care, outpatient hand therapy, pre/post-employment screening and women’s health. In 2001, she returned to Canada where she joined the team at CBI OT Services Nanaimo to work in active rehabilitation programs that focused on return to work. In 2006, Tricia and her team expanded the scope of practice to include outpatient neuro rehab (SCI and ABI/TBI rehabilitation), mental health RTW programs, seating and pressure management, and eldercare services. She continued to expand her practice and include Life Care Planning for clients with TBI, SCI, Chronic Pain and Complex Orthopedic conditions. With a new challenge as the Regional Manager for CBI OT Services for Vancouver Island in 2011, Tricia gave into her passion for program development, teaching, mentoring and instruction design where she is an OT to OTs! Tricia continues to develop and deliver education modules based on innovation and best practices. She is most proud of developing a team of clinical practice leaders in specialized areas including: mental health, concussion and brain injury, seating and pressure management, driving assessments, eldercare services, medical legal assessment, complex case management.
